Laundry Frog was sitting on top of my laundry bag this morning. I zipped up the bag or he might have been in it. I dumped him off and watched him start to puff up, but I quickly swept him out the front door again. I assume that won’t do much good, he obviously snuck back in and headed straight for the dirty laundry. It’s funny, but at the same time it’s more than I want to deal with in the morning. Thank god it’s not a snake.

I love your new hair color. China – glad you got the visa! Chiang Mai – we were there in the 1980s – sleepy little town, we rode the train from Bangkok and walked into town to our hotel. . We stayed in the only modern high rise hotel – 2 stories. Most people stayed in tiny hostels.Yes, we went to the umbrella factory – maybe the same one. Saw an orchid garden. We had furniture made there and sent to us later. Louise has the carved bar – beautiful! Lily and I went out walking and passed a shop with smoke coming out. We were sure it was an opium den, only to learn later that someone was cooking chilies. We loved the night market and bought several things from surrounding area. Yes, the silk is wonderful and the colors !!! I had clothes made in Bangkok and still wear one of the dresses. Maybe you can wear the suit I had made.

I have a girlfriend ( we met in kg) and she travels around the world — So. America, China, Asia, Europe,Greece, Africa for months from north to south, I think she is in Slovenia now. She has no house, no car and a few things at a friend’s house. I can see you being like her — meeting people all over the world. Dolores
